Hostages Released!
October 13 was the day Israel celebrated the return of the twenty living hostages and four bodies of hostages killed by Hamas. President Trump pressured Hamas with the threat of annihilation if they did not release the hostages. The result was absolutely an answer to prayer! “… A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.”

After a great victory like the hostages being released, we might be tempted to remove our focus from the war to totally disarm and destroy Hamas. As of now, Hamas still has not returned all the bodies of the hostages they murdered, including two soldier’s bodies they have held since August 2014. Hamas is refusing to disarm according to the agreement and have violated the ceasefire on several occasions including missile attacks. Our prayers are still needed to accomplish the goal of ridding the Gaza strip of Hamas and securing the peace and safety of all Israelis.
Prayer Points for Freed Hostages – Jeremiah 30:17
- Pray for their mental well-being.
- Pray for their physical healing.
- Pray for their continued spiritual renewal.
The first phase of ending the war was two-fold. First is to release all the hostages both dead and alive and second Hamas agreed to disarm. As of this writing, several bodies have not been returned and Hamas refuses to disarm.
President Trump has warned Hamas of serious consequences if they do not disarm.
Prayer Points Over Cease Fire – Deuteronomy 28:7-8
- Pray the nations that created the ceasefire agreement will enforce it by disarming Hamas.
- Pray all remaining bodies of hostages and soldiers killed by Hamas will be returned to their families for a proper burial.
- Pray the United States will stand Israel through the process of ending the war.

Every day, we witnessed the truth being distorted beyond recognition. Terrorist from Gaza, who butchered innocent men, women, and children on October 7 – murdering over 1,200 civilians in the most brutal ways imaginable – are depicted as victors. Hamas, the bloodthirsty or organization whose chapter calls for the annihilation of the Jewish people, is celebrated in the streets across the West as “liberators of the occupation.”
These thugs are being shielded by false narratives from liberal media outlets that should be ashamed of their complicity. This anti-Israel propaganda further claims that Israel’s military is committing “genocide.”
The truth? The IDF is doing everything possible to protect the civilian population in Gaza, while destroying the terror infrastructure that threatens both Jewish and Palestinian civilians alike…
Let’s be clear: the only genocide attempt in this war is the one Hamas planned against the Jewish people. Had they fully succeeded, it would have resulted in the elimination of Israel and the subsequent destruction of the West.
Please don’t forget that the radical Islamist ideology fueling Hamas not only hates Israel and the Jewish people, but also Christians, freedom-loving Americans, and everything, the civilized world values.
And yet, the liberal media repeats these distorting talking points every day. Western journalists, many with direct ties to Hamas, flood the world with staged photographs, falsified, casualty, numbers, and misleading narratives.

- Pray for Prime Minister Netanyahu, to be empowered by the spirit of the Lord with wisdom, courage, and safety. Isaiah 41:10
- Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Isaiah 62:7, Psalm 122:6
